Built to be used by everyone

Otohpia is a product for families, and grandparents are a core part of that. We hold ourselves to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the baseline for everything we ship, and we treat accessibility as a requirement, not a finishing touch.

• Semantic HTML and landmarks so screen readers can navigate the page.
• Every flow is completable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Interactive controls are large enough to tap comfortably (44×44px).
• Images carry meaningful alternative text; form fields have real labels and errors are announced.
• Text and background colours are checked for contrast.
• We respect your “reduce motion” setting and turn off animation when it’s on.
• The interface works in both left-to-right and right-to-left (Hebrew).
• Reading text is at least 14px and small labels at least 12px, and all of it grows when you zoom or enlarge your text.

Our public pages, the home page, the survey, the waitlist, and the beta sign-in, have been audited against WCAG 2.1 AA and substantially conform. The rest of the product is still in active development and will be audited before it opens to families.

Our pink buttons and labels use a deeper pink (#C70065) behind their white text, which meets the 4.5:1 contrast the standard asks for on normal-size text.
